Hi everyone – I hope you’re enjoying the signs of Spring. In fact, the first day of Spring is less than a week away.
In that theme, here’s another shot from my recent visit to the Sierra foothills outside Sequoia National Park in California. This was the first mostly sunny day after a long period of rain and snow. Everything looked bright and green, and there were signs of wildflowers emerging. If you look closely you’ll see the subtle waves of yellow on the green hillsides. The patchy sun/shade on the hillside was a nice bonus, and you can see an orange grove in the distance, with the trees laden with oranges. The scent of citrus was in the air, ahhh!
