Hello everyone! As “life” is keeping me from the backcountry right now, I perused my archives and found this photo. It’s from a backpacking trip a few years back, in Sequoia National Park in California. It was a 4 night trip involving maybe 45-50 miles, and crossing over two passes. This spot was on my second day, well into the backcountry.
If I were to name this photo, it would be, “Looking up in Awe”. That’s how I feel when I see scenes like this. It reminds me of how John Muir described Hetch Hetchy Valley, where he compared the natural scenery to cathedrals or churches.
Enjoy! 😀
