Hello everyone, and Happy Autumn! The peak of the Fall colors are here (and past in some areas!). I went for a drive through part of Yosemite National Park, and came across this one scene that caught my eye. There was beauty all around, of course, but somehow this one spot made me stop.
The overall view is of a section of the South Fork of the Tuolumne River. Earlier in the season water would be rushing over the rocks. Now, in October, it was still, except for a small trickle causing a slight sound of running water. The patterns of color made it clear that this is “Autumn”.
I liked the overall view, yet one area had an abundance of color. Which shot do you like the best?
I’m still looking forward to making an announcement about some new features on the website – still “coming soon” as I await a software update to provide a missing capability. Stay tuned and thank you for your interest!
